So, in my on-going crusade against hateful, cash-register leaning bartenders, especially a certain one at Mary’s, I have decided to drink at home with friends. This has not only proven to be fun (watching movies, board games, talking) but it has also proven to be much cheaper. Here are a few examples:

1 Bottle of St Germain:  $33.99 
– You get only 5 Iced Tea and St Germain at Mary’s.

1 Bottle of Pimms No. 1: $16.99 
– You get less than 2 Pimms Cups at Mary’s.

1 Bottle of Peach Schnapps and 1 Bottle of Vodka: $27.99
– You get 4 Sex on the Beach at Mary’s.

1 Three Olive Cherry and 1 7-UP: $20.00
– You get 4 Cherry and 7’s at Marys.

It is not only more fun to drink at home with friends but A LOT more economical than Mary’s!

In case you are wondering, Mary’s has 179 more days of no business until I decide to review the case again. If all is well, I will be back at Mary’s starting April 5th, 2008 (of course I will be selecting a new bartender at that time!)

Beware of this little angel! She will eat dinner with you at the Palm on Friday night then get drunk and go home. You will then proceed to make your way to Hamburger Mary’s for a few Friday cocktails. She will eventually drag you back there at 3 pm on Saturday, get you drunk, and go home. You, now brain-washed, will go back to Mary’s about 8pm, drink more, and order shots of Patron for the whole bar. And then there is Sunday where she drags you back to Mary’s again and leaves you hanging — just so you can order shots of Patron for everyone on the patio.
